NET, HELMET, with BAND / uses: 1. To break up the helmet silhouette. / 2. To secure camouflage follage to helmet. / 3. To prevent glare. / ADJUSTMENTS FOR VARIOUS USES: / 1. Without foliage: / To put on helmet net, place net on ground with rubber band on its upper side. Place helmet, without its liner, upside down on top of net, with back of helmet close to the connection of band to net. Slip band around outside of helmet brim. Fold front edges (see Fig.1) or all edges (see Fig. 2) of net inside helmet brim, with helmet chin-strap going into the two slots cut in opposite sides of net. Put in liner helmet to grip net between helmet and liner. / Elastic band under net. / Connection of band to net in rear. / If desired to break up distinctive out-line of head and neck, allow net in rear of chin-strap tohangloosely. / OVER / 2. With foliage : / To secure camouflage foliage most easily, place band outside helmet and over net. Select foliage of type around you. Place leaves with their top sides outward. Avoid using big, shiny leaves. / 3. To aid concealment of head silhouette and face while observing helmet may be turned so that loose net, usually hanging in rear of helmet, covers face. / Connection of band to net in rear. / Avoid wearing too much camouflage foliage at a time on helmet. / OVER
